[KNS뉴스통신=김은정 기자] 러시아 페름에 이어 다음날 3일 러시아 모스크바에서 남쪽으로 500km 거리에 있고 인구 130만명이 사는 보로네쉬에서 시민음악회가 성공리에 열렸다.
오후 7시에 시작한 보로네쉬 이벤트홀 시민음악회는 2,500석이 다 채워졌는데도 불구하고 관객들은 계속 밀고 들어와 시민 3,000명이 그라시아스합창단의 공연을 관람했다.
그라시아스합창단의 음악은 시민들의 마음에 뜨거운 감동을 주었고 공연이 무르익어가자 관객들의 얼굴은 미소와 행복으로 가득 찼으며, 그라시아스 음악을 통해 삶의 위로와 감사를 전달했다.
박옥수 목사는 척수염에 걸렸지만 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 마음이 연결돼 병에서 나은 한 여학생의 일화를 통해 "이처럼 마음이 흐를 때 행복한 삶을 살게 되는데 오늘은 보로네쉬 시민 여러분과 음악을 통해 마음이 흘러 너무 행복하고 감사하다"며 "여러분도 주변사람들과 또 하나님과 마음이 흘러 행복한 삶을 사시기 바란다"고 메시지를 전했다.
한편 그라시아스합창단 시민음악회 공연 전에 박옥수 목사는 보로네쉬 주 의회 부의장를 비롯해 시립합창단 단장, 보로네쉬 침례회 회장 알렉 알렉세예프 목사(前 러시아 보로네쉬 주 침례회 회장, 보로네쉬 중앙침례교회 당회장) 외 100여명의 기독교 교단 지도자, 유명 음악관계자 등과 만난 환담을 가졌고 이들은 그라시아스합창단과 함께 방문한 박 목사에게 감사를 표했다.
Voronezh’s “People’s Concert” following Perm… touches the hearts of many
On the 3rd, following the concert held in Perm, Russia, the “People’s Concert” was successfully held in Voronezh, a city with a population of 1.3 million.
The People's Concert, which was held at the Voronezh Event Hall, started at 7PM and the 2,500 seats were filled. Furthermore, despite having a full house, the people of Voronezh continued to enter the hall and a total of 3,000 people were able to view the Gracias Choir’s performance.
The music of the Gracias Choir filled the hearts of the audience with warmth and as the concert reached its climax, the faces of the audience were filled with joy, happiness and thankfulness as they were comforted through the music.
Using the story of a student who suffered from Bone Marrow Suppression (myelosuppression), but was healed by connecting her heart with God through the Word, Pastor Ock Soo Park gave his message. He said, “Only when the heart flows through each other, we can live a truly happy life. I am happy and thankful, as through the music, the hearts of the people of Voronezh have become one.” He continued, “I truly hope that you and those around you can connect your hearts with God and live a happy life,”
On the other hand, before the Gracias Choir’s People’s Concert, Pastor Ock Soo Park met with the State Parliament Vice-President of Voronezh, the head of the city choir, Pastor Alex Alexkseev – chair of the Voronezh Baptist Church ( former chairman of the Baptist Church of Voronezh, Chairman of the Central Baptist Church) as well as 100 Christian Church Leaders and famous music personnel who all expressed their appreciation for the Gracias Choir and him for visiting.
