[브뤼셀=AP/KNS뉴스통신] 경제협력개발기구 (OECD)는 유로 존 국가들이 경제위기에 대처하기 위해 유로안정화 기금을 1조유로 (1조 3,000억 달러)로 증액해야 한다고 주장했다.
파리에 본부를 둔 OECD의 사무총장은 27일 안정화 기금의 증액문제를 이번 주 후반에 열리는 유로존 17개국 재무장관 회의에서 결정해야 한다고 요구하면서 현재의 안정화 기금 5천억 유로는 유로존의 금융시장의 신뢰감을 얻는데 부족하다고 주장했다.
유럽 제1의 경제대국인 독일은 안정화 기금 액을 잠정적으로 7,000억 유로로 증액하는데 찬성한다는 신호를 보내고 있으나 국제통화기금과 전체 유럽연합 27개국은 7천억 유로 이상의 금액으로 늘리기를 요구하고 있다.

OECD pushes for $1.3 trillion eurozone crisis fund
BRUSSELS (AP) — The head of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development says eurozone countries should boost their crisis firewalls to at least €1 trillion ($1.3 trillion).
Angelo Gurria, the head of the Paris-based international development body, said Tuesday that the finance ministers of the 17 euro countries should take this decision at their meeting later this week.
He said current commitments to the rescue funds, which are limited to €500 billion, are not enough to restore market confidence in the currency union.
Germany, the bloc's largest economy, signaled on Monday that it would only support a temporary increase to around €700 billion.
Even that falls below the recommendation of the International Monetary Fund and the wider 27-country European Union.
