[베이징=AP/KNS뉴스통신] 중국 북부 허베이 성에 있는 한 화학공장에서 폭발사건이 터져 25명이 사망하고 4명이 행방불명, 46명이 부상당한 사고가 발생했다.
국영 신화 통신은 4일 지난달 28일 처음 폭발당시에는 16명이 사망했으나 그 이후 사망자가 늘어난 것으로 폭발이 일어난 공장에는 약 100명의 근로자가 작업 하고 있었다고 한다.
중국의 국가 안전 생산 감독관리총국은 이 공장에서 고 에너지 연료 추진체인 질산구아니딘을 생산하고 있었다고 발표했다.

Death toll rises to 25 in China plant blast
BEIJING (AP) — A state news agency says the death toll from an explosion at a chemical plant in northern China has risen to 25, with four missing and 46 others injured.
The official Xinhua News Agency said Sunday that the death toll rose from the original 16 killed in Tuesday's blast. About 100 people were working at the Hebei Zhaoxian Keeper Chemical Co. plant in 's Zhaoxian county.
Xinhua earlier said rescue work was dangerous because of the risk of other explosions.
China's State Administration of Work Safety said the blast occurred during production of a high-energy fuel and propellant, guanidine nitrate.
