[마드리드=AP/KNS뉴스통신] 2011년 스페인의 예산 적자는 집권 보수정권이 예측한 액수보다 더 비관적인 국내총생산 (GDP)의 8.5%로 밝혀졌다.
작년의 예산적자가 증가하면서 2012년 EU가 목표치를 낮추지 않은 한 올해 GDP의 4.4% 목표치에 맞추려면 스페인 정부가 더 강한 긴축조치를 취해야 할 것으로 보인다.
전 사회당 정부는 2011년 6%의 적자예산을 달성할 것으로 예측했으나 지난해 12월 정권을 잡은 보수정권은 8%로 상향조정 한바 있다.

Spain 2011 deficit was above-target 8.5 pct of GDP
MADRID (AP) — Spain says its budget deficit for 2011 has come in at 8.5 percent of GDP, even worse than the new conservative's own already pessimistic prediction.
The increase will likely ratchet up the pressure on the government to take enact more austerity measures to get the deficit down to the stated goal of 4.4 percent of GDP for this year, unless it gets some relief from the EU in the form of an easier 2012 target.
The previous Socialist government had said the deficit would come in at around 6 percent.
After taking power in December, the conservatives raised the forecast to about 8 percent.
