[챠든, 오하이오=AP/KNS뉴스통신] 클리블랜드 고등학교에서 학생 1명이 사망하고 4명의 부상당한 총격사건을 일으킨 10대 용의자는 26km 떨어진 위험 군 학생이 다니는 하교의 학생으로 알려졌다.
27일 (현지시간) 한 교육 당국자는 총격사건의 용의자는 챠든 고등학교 학생이 아닌 레이크 아카데미 학생이라고 발표했다.
레이크 아카데미 학원의 원장은 이 학생에 대해 질문에 대해 답을 하지 않았다. 이 학교는 학업이나 행동에 문제가 있는 7학년에서 12학년 학생을 수용하고 있다.
용의 학생이 소년이기 때문에 신상에 대해 알려지지 않았는데 챠든에서 800 미터 떨어진 그의 자동차 근처에서 체포됐다.

Ohio official: Shooting suspect among at-risk kids
CHARDON, Ohio (AP) — A teenage suspect in the deadly shooting of one student and wounding of four others at a suburban Cleveland high school attends a separate school for at risk students about 16 miles (26 kilometers) away.
An education official said Monday the suspected shooter is a Lake Academy student, not a student at Chardon High School, where the shootings occurred.
Brian Bontempo declined to answer any further questions about the student. Bontempo is the superintendent of the Lake County Educational Service Center, which operates the academy.
The alternative school in Willoughby serves 7th through 12th grades. Students may have been referred to the school because of academic or behavioral problems.
The suspect's name has not been released because he is a juvenile. He was arrested near his car a half-mile (800 meters) from Chardon.
