[산타 아나=AP/KNS뉴스통신] 검찰은 6일 이미 4명의 노숙자 살인범으로 기소된 이라크 참전 해병대원인 Itzcoatl Ocampo (23)가 친구의 어머니와 형을 살인한 혐의를 추가해서 기소했다고 밝혔다.

경찰은 지난 달 노숙자 연쇄 살인범으로 체포된 그의 방에서 수거한 옷에서 친구 어머니와 형의 살인과 관련된 DNA를 찾아냈다고 발표했다.

Homeless killings suspect faces new murder charges

SANTA ANA, California (AP) — A former Marine already accused of killing four homeless men was charged Monday with two new counts of murder in the stabbing deaths of his high school friend's mother and older brother.

Itzcoatl Ocampo, 23, was charged in the killing of 53-year-old Raquel Estrada and her son, 34-year-old Juan Herrera, in the family's rented home on a quiet Yorba Linda cul-de-sac in October.

County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas said authorities found DNA evidence linking Ocampo to the murders of Estrada and Juan Herrera on an item of clothing found during a search of his family's home last month, when Ocampo was charged with the homeless murders.
