드미트리 쳬르니셴코 위원장은 게임에 지장을 줄 수 있는 공사 지연은 없으며 모든 공사가 공정에 맞춰 진행 중이며 기반시설의 87%가 이미 완공됐다고 말했다.

15일(현지시간) 러시아 부수상 드미트리 코작은 70여개의 건설공사가 지연되고 있다고 인정했으나 올림픽에 영향을 끼치지는 않을 것이라고 말했다.

Sochi chief says delays won't affect 2014 Games

INNSBRUCK, Austria (AP) — The head of the organizing committee for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics has "no doubts" that all necessary construction work will be finished on time, despite reported delays at over 70 building projects.

Dmitry Chernyshenko says "it has nothing to do with a real delay that could harm the games ... We are well on track, 87 percent of the infrastructure has been done already."

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak acknowledged Sunday that more than 70 projects are behind schedule but denied the Olympics would be affected.
