[파리=AP/KNS뉴스통신] 데이비드 베컴이 파리 생제르맹 FC와 18개월 계약을 체결할 것으로 언론이 보도했다.
수개월에 걸친 협상 끝에 베컴은 1월부터 PSG FC와 계약한다고 프랑스 스포츠 신문인 L’Equipe가 보도했다.
현재 36세인 영국 대표팀 주장이었던 베컴은 매달 80만 유로를 받는다고 프랑스 일간지 르 파리지엔(Le Parisien)이 기사를 실었다.
계약이 이루어지면 최근 마지막 시즌에 LA 갤럭시를 우승으로 이끌었던 베컴은 미국 메이저리그 축구(MLS)를 떠나게 될 것이다. 아직도 베컴은 내년 2012 런던올림픽에서 영국대표로 참가하기를 원하고 있다.

Beckham to join Paris St. Germain
PARIS (AP) — David Beckham is set to sign an 18-month deal with French club Paris Saint-Germain, according to the local news media.
After months of negotiations, Beckham will sign his contract with PSG in the beginning of January according to French daily L'Equipe.
The 36-year-old former England captain would earn 800,000 euros ($1.05 million) per month, French daily Le Parisien claimed.
If agreed, the deal would end Beckham's time in Major League Soccer, having led Los Angeles Galaxy to the title in the season just past. He still has ambitions of playing for Britain in the Olympics in London next year.
