워싱턴, 4월 21일 (신화) - 21일 미국 힐러리 클린턴 국무장관은 무아마르 카다피 리비아지도자에 충성하는 군대의 “클러스터 탄“ 사용을 비난하면서, 사악한 공격을 계속하고 있다고 말했다.
클린턴 장관은 미국을 방문하고 있는 네델란드 유리 로젠달 외무장관과 갖은 공동 기자회견에서 “1973년 유엔 결의안에 의거해 리비아 민간인 보호를 위한 유엔안보리의 결의안을 이행하는 것은 매우 중요한 일이다” 고 말했다.
클린턴 장관은 카다피군은 리비아 제3의 도시인 미스라타에 사악한 공격을 계속하고 있다고 말했다.
지난 수일 동안, 리비아 서부의 반군이 점령하고 있는 유일한 도시인 미스라타에서 격렬한 전투가 벌어져 20일에는 팀 헤더링턴 영국 사진기자와 크리스 온드로스 미국 사진기자등 최소한 민간이 10명이 사망했다.

Clinton accuses Gaddafi forces of using cluster bombs
WASHINGTON, April 21 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday said forces loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi continued the "vicious attacks," accusing them of using "cluster bombs."
"We agreed that carrying out the mandate of the United Nations Security Council to protect Libyan civilians remains critically important under Resolution 1973," Clinton said in the joint press conference with visiting Dutch Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal.
She said Gaddafi forces continued their "vicious attacks," including in Misrata, which is the third largest Libyan city.
In the past few days, Misrata, the only rebel-held city in the country's west, has seen some of the fiercest battles. Wednesday's fighting in the city resulted in the killing of at least 10 civilians, including British photojournalist Tim Hetherington and American photographer Chris Hondros.
"There are even reports that Gaddafi forces may have used cluster bombs against their own people," she said, referring to some rebels' claim that Gaddafi's troops are using "indiscriminate weapon" in Misrata.
Clinton on Wednesday had recommended up to 25 million dollars in non-lethal aid to Libyan opposition, possibly including items like radios, body armor and MREs (meals ready to eat).
