German exports up 2.7 percent in February
BERLIN (AP) — Official data show that Germany's exports were up 2.7 percent on the month in February, more than making up for a slip the previous month.
The Federal Statistical Office said Friday that Germany, Europe's biggest economy, exported goods and services worth €84 billion ($120 billion) in February. In year-on-year terms, exports were up 21 percent.
Exports had slipped by 1 percent on the month in January.
Germany's impressive recovery appears set to continue as buoyant exports into a recovering global economy are accompanied by signs of improving domestic demand.
Friday's figures showed that imports were up 3.7 percent on the month in February at €71.9 billion. In year-on-year terms, they were up 27 percent.

독일 수출 증가세 지속
베를린 (AP) - 독일의 2월 공식 수출증가율 2.7%는 1월의 감소액을 만해하고 남는 수치이다.
독일 연방 통계국에 의하면 8일 유럽최대 경제국인 독일은 2월에 상품과 서비스로 840억 유로 (1,200억 달러)의 수출을 달성했다 한다. 년 간 증가율로 계산하면 수출이 21% 증가한 것이다.
1월에는 수출이 1% 감소했었다.
독일의 인상적인 경제회복은 세계경제의 회복세를 타면서 국내 수요증가와 동반하여 수출이 계속 증가할 것으로 보인다.
금요일 발표된 통계에 의하면 2월의 수입은 3.7% 증가한 719억 유로이며 년 율로 27% 증가한 것이다.
