Cote d'Ivoire's Ouattara announces blockade of Gbagbo's residence
ABIDJAN, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Cote d'Ivoire's internationally recognized president Alassane Ouattara on Thursday announced the blockade of his presidential rival Laurent Gbagbo's residence in the West African country's biggest city Abidjan, vowing to restore order and security.
In his televised address to the nation, Ouattara said his forces had surrounded the mansion where Gbagbo was being holed up. He called for discipline from the forces, asking them to restore order and security in the country's economic capital.
Ouattara also held Gbagbo responsible for crimes by mercenaries, who were reportedly involved in the ongoing war, killing civilians.
Ouattara made the formal appearance on local television in the capacity of the country's head of state, when the final battle announced by his Republican Forces entered the fourth day in Abidjan.
The pro-Ouattara forces say they expect to capture Gbagbo alive eventually, although that may take time

와타라는 그를 지지하는 공화당 군이 아비장으로 진입한지 4일째 전투가 막바지에 이르자 공식 대통령 자격으로 TV에 출연하였다.
와타라 대통령을 지지하는 군은 시간이 걸리더라도 결국 그바그보를 생포할 것이다 고 발표했다.
