[야로슬라블(러시아)=AP/KNS뉴스통신] 7일(현지시각) 러시아 서부도시 야로슬라블 인근 지역에서 해당 지역 로코모티브 하키팀을 태운 여객기가 추락하는 사고가 일어났다.
AP 통신에 따르면 야크-42 기종 여객기가 볼가 강가의 야로슬라블 인근 투노슈나 공항을 이륙한 직후 추락, 탑승자 45명 가운데 43명이 사망했다고 밝혔다.
당시 여객기에는 벨라루스 민스크에서 예정된 하키 경기를 치르기 위해 탔던 하키팀 감독 및 구단관계자와 선수들이 다수 포함됐으며 1명이 생존, 다른 한명은 실종됐으며 생존자 1명은 부상 정도가 매우 심한 것으로 나타났다.
러시아 정부는 야로슬라블 세계경제정책 포럼이 열리고 있는 상황에서 벌어진 사고로 당혹감을 감추지 못하고 있다고 전했다.
