인도 국가 재난 대응 군 (NDRF) 요원이 2011년 3월 17일 일본에서 귀환하면서 인도 뉴델리 인디라 간디 국제공항의 도착 게이트에서 만약의 방사능 피폭에 대해서 검사를 받고 있다. 지난 주 발생한 지진과 쓰나미로 파괴된 후쿠오카 다이-이치 발전소의 파괴된 원자로와 사용 연료 저장조의 온도를 낮추려는 일본의 필사적인 노력에도 불구하고 방사능 누출이 건강에 미칠 영향에 대해 국제적인 우려가 커지고 있다.
