[멕시코시티/AP통신] 멕시코 북부에 있는 한 철강공장이 폭발하여 최소 5명이 사망했다고 철강회사는 밝혔다.
지난 22일 일어난 이 폭발로 최소 9명이 부상을 당해 치료 중에 있다.
테르늄 철강회사는 세 명의 노동자가 지난 23일 오전 멕시코 동북부 도시 몬테레이에 있는 병원으로 옮겨졌지만 사망했다고 밝혔다.
폭발의 원인에 대해서는 아직도 조사 중에 있다.
몬테레이는 멕시코에서 세 번째로 큰 도시이자 강철 제조의 중심지다.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — An explosion has ripped through a steel plant in northern Mexico and the company says at least five people are dead.
At least 9 other people are recovering from injuries suffered in Monday's blast.
The Ternium steel company says three workers died at a hospital in the northern city of Monterrey on Tuesday after two died earlier.
The cause of the blast is still being investigated.
Monterrey is Mexico's third-largest city and a steel manufacturing hub.
