[베이징/AP통신] 중국의 내각은 중국 내의 악명 높은 공기오염을 억제하는 방안을 발표했다.

중앙 정부의 내각이 승인한 광대한 방안 중 하나는 많은 양의 폐기물과 오염물질을 생산하는 산업분야에 대해 엄격한 제재를 가하는 것이다. 세부사항에 대해서는 지방 정부가 관할한다.

중국 총리 리커창이 의장을 맡은 회의에서, 중앙 정부의 내각은 14일(현지시각) 내각 홈페이지의 성명에서 "힘든 과제를 성취할 강경한 10개의 조치"를 승인했다고 밝혔다. 이러한 조치들은 2017년 말까지, 심하게 오염을 야기하는 산업분야로부터 적어도 30%까지 오염 방사물을 줄이는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.

BEIJING (AP) — China's cabinet has announced measures to curb the country's notorious air pollution.
The broad measures approved by the State Council include putting strict controls in place for industries that produce large amounts of waste and pollution. It will likely be up to local governments to work out the details.
In a meeting chaired by Premier Li Keqiang, the State Council approved 10 "tough measures to accomplish tough tasks," the council said in a statement on its website late Friday. These include a target to reduce pollution emissions by at least 30 percent in heavy-polluting industries by the end of 2017.
China's growing middle class has become increasingly fed up with air, water and soil pollution that has resulted from development-at-all-costs policies.
