[워싱턴=신화/KNS뉴스통신] 미 국무부는 25일 최근 발생한 이란 핵 과학 살해사건과 미국은 무관하다고 주장하면서 이 사건으로 “주의를 딴 데로 돌리는데” 이용하지 말라고 촉구했다.
미국 국무부 빅토리아 널랜드 대변인은 지난 23일 테헤란 동부에서 살해당한 한 이란 핵과학자 다리우쉬 레자에이(Dariush Rezaei)씨의 사망에 대해 기자들에게 “우리는 관여하지 않았다” 고 발표했다.
국무부 대변인은 이란에서 동일한 범죄가 발생할 때마다 “자주 서방을 비난한다” 고 말했다.
지난 24일 프레스 TV는 알리 라리자니 이란 국회의장이 이번 암살사건은 “미국-유대인의 테러행위“라고 비난한 것으로 보도했다.
최근 몇 년간 이란 핵 과학자들이 잇달아 살해됐으며 이란 정부는 미국과 이스라엘의 소행이라고 주장해 왔다.
지난해 1월에는 이란의 핵과학자이며 테헤란 대학 마수드 알리 모하마다( Massoud Ali- Mohammadi) 물리학 교수가 자신의 집 앞에 세워둔 오토바이에 설치된 원격조정 폭탄테러로 살해당했으며, 11월에는 미지드 샤하리라 ( Majid Shahriar)가 귀가하는 길에 자동차에 설치된 폭탄테러로 암살당했다.
지난 1월 이란정부는 이란 핵과학자 암살에 연루된 일단의 사람들은 체포하면서 이스라엘 스파이망을 분쇄했다고 발표했다.

U.S. denies involvement in killing of Iran nuclear scientist
WASHINGTON, July 25 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. State Department on Monday denied that the country is involved in the recent assassination of an Iranian nuclear scientist, urging Iran not to use the incident to "distract attention."
"We were not involved," State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland told reporters, in response to the death of Dariush Rezaei, an Iranian nuclear scientist who was killed in eastern Tehran on Saturday.
She said it is a "frequent practice" for Iran to "accuse the West" for these kinds of incidents.
Iran's Majlis (parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani called the assassination as a " U.S.-Zionist terrorist act," the satellite Press TV reported Sunday.
There have been a series of assassination attempts against Iran 's nuclear scientists in recent years.
In January 2010, the Iranian nuclear scientist and the Physics professor at the prestigious University of Tehran, Massoud Ali- Mohammadi, was killed by a remote-controlled bomb attached to a motorbike parked near his house.
In November 2010, another Iranian nuclear scientist Majid Shahriar was also killed by a bomb attached to his car on the way to his work.
In January, Iran said it dismantled an Israeli spying network and arrested a group of people who were linked to the assassination of its nuclear scientist Massoud Ali-Mohammadi.
