2012년 백악관의 크리스마스 트리 감상

[KNS뉴스통신=박세호 기자] 28일 미국 워싱턴 백악관에서는 올해 크리스마스 연말연시 시즌 장식 프리뷰 행사가 있었다.

크리스마스트리가 백악관의 블루룸에 선보였다.(위 사진). 공식적인 백악관 크리스마스 트리는 노스 캐롤라이나 주 제퍼슨 산으로, 18피트 6인치 크기의 프레이저 펄 트리이다.(아래 사진)

군인가족 자녀들이 초청되어 크리스마스 장식을 달았다. 올해 백악관 '크리스마스 2012' 주제는 ‘Joy to All' (만민에게 기쁨을)이다.

백악관에서 퍼스트 레이디 미셸 오바마 여사는 28일 백악관 내 크리스마스 장식 프리뷰 행사 동안 백악관 이스트 룸에서 데코레이션을 맡은 군 가족 어린이들을 위한 환영사를 했다.  위 사진은 어린이들을 위한 연설을 하기 위해 마이크 앞으로 걸어가고 있는 장면이다.
