日, 1~3월 분기 GDP 1.2% 증가

[도쿄=AP/KNS뉴스통신] 일본 내각이 8일 1~3월 분기의 물가변동의 영향을 수정한 실질 성장치를 1.2%, 년 율로 환산해면 4.7% 성장했다고 발표했다.

이 수정된 성장률은 이 전에 예측한 전기 대비 1.0%, 년 율 4.1%를 웃도는 것이다.

1-3월 분기의 예상을 넘는 GDP 증가는 개인 소비지출이 늘고 기업의 설비투자가 대폭 줄지 않은 것이 원인으로 보인다.
　
수요항목 별로는 기업의 설비투자가 이전 예상했던 전기 대배 3.9%에서 실제 2.1% 감소, 개인소비는 에너지 효율이 높은 자동차에 대한 정부 보조금의 영향으로 1.0% 예상에서 1.2%로 증가했다.

공공 투자는 3.8% 증가로 예상보다는 낮은 성장률을 보였으나 일본 동북부 쓰나미 재해로 피해를 당한 주택, 도로, 건축물의 복구 수요로 인해 여전히 큰 폭의 증가를 기록했다.

Japan raises January-March growth estimate

TOKYO (AP) — Japan has raised its estimate of January-March economic growth to 1.2 percent compared with the previous quarter amid a recovery 　from last year's earthquake and tsunami.

The Cabinet Office said Friday the figure was increased 　from 1 percent as private spending was higher than first estimated and corporate investment didn't decline as much.
The revision means the economy grew 4.7 percent on annualized basis in the quarter compared with the initial estimate of 4.1 percent.

Consumer spending is lifting the world's third-biggest economy, helped by government subsidies for green vehicles.

Public investment has also been growing, reflecting reconstruction spending on housing, roads and other building work following the March 11 disaster last year in northeastern Japan.
