런던 폭동 첫 사망자 발생

[린던=신화통신/KNS뉴스통신] 지난 6일부터 수도 런던을 뒤흔들고 영국 전역으로 확산된 폭동과 관련해 9일 런던 소요사태 동안 차안에서 총상을 입었던 한 남자가 런던 소재  병원에서 숨진 후 첫 사망자가 발생했다고 현지 언론이 보도했다.

26세의 이 남자는 지난 7일 런던 교외 코로이돈에서 부상을 입었었다고, BBC방송이 보도했다.

LONDON, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- Riots which rocked the British capital since Saturday and swept across the country claimed its first toll on Tuesday, after a man shot in a car during the unrest died in hospital in London, local media reported.

The 26-year-old man was wounded in Croydon, a south London suburb, on Monday night, the BBC reported.
