아부다비, 아랍에미리트 (AP) - 리비아 반군을 지지하는 부족장들은 9일 카다피군에 대항하기 위한 무기와 보급품을 조달하기 위해 더 많은 원유가 필요하다고 했다.
지난달에는 리비아 동부의 반군에게 무기와 식품을 지원하는데 필요한 자금을 위해 반군이 보유하고 있던 원유판매로 1억3천만 달러를 조달한 바 있다.
리비아북서부 튀니지국경인근의 자와리출신의 부족장을 위시한 20여명의 부족장들이 아부다비에 모여 반정부군에 협조하는 전략을 조정하고 지원할 것에 합의했다.
카타르와 아랍에미리트는 카다피군을 공격하는 나토군에 참가하기 위해 전투기를 파병했다.

Libyan tribes seek more oil sales to fight Gadhafi
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Libyan tribal leaders backing the uprising against Moammar Gadhafi called Monday for more oil sales to help arm and supply their regions to fight against government forces.
Nearly $130 million was raised from the sale of rebel-held oil last month to help pay for weapons and food in opposition strongholds in eastern Libya, but tribal leaders in other parts of the country say further oil shipments are needed to fund their battles against Gadhafi's military.
A tribal leader from the Zwara region near the Tunisian border in northwest Libya was among more than 20 leaders from tribes and councils who gathered in Abu Dhabi to coordinate strategies and pledge loyalty to the rebel forces. They plan to travel on Tuesday to Qatar, which oversaw the rebel oil sale.
Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have sent warplanes to take part in the NATO force attacking Gadhafi's military and other sites.
