[서울=AP/KNS뉴스통신] 북한 김정일 지도자와 김정은 후계자가 북한과 중국 간 우호협조 체결 50주년을 맞아 북한을 방문한 중국 고위 대표단을 맞아 연회를 베푼 것으로 알려졌다.

북한의 중앙통신은 12일 중국 장더장 국무원 부 총리을 위한 환영만찬이후 발표된 성명서에서 김 위원장은 “몇 세대가 바뀌어도 중국과의 긴밀한 유대관계가 변하지 않을 것이다”고 말했다고 전했다.

장 부총리는 중국과의 협력관계를 강화하기 위해 노력하는 김 위원장의 노력을 찬양하고 중국은 양국 정상이 합의한 광범위한 조치를 계속 추진할 것이라고 말했다.

중국 축하 사절은 10일 평양에 도착하여 13일 떠날 예정이다.

North Korean leader hosts senior Chinese officials

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korean leader Kim Jong Il and his son and heir-apparent Kim Jong Un pledged to keep ties with China close as they staged a dinner party for a visiting delegation of senior Chinese officials to celebrate the 50th anniversary of a treaty of friendship.

Kim Jong Il told the Chinese delegation, headed by Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang, that close relations will stay "un　　　changed no matter how much water flows under the bridge and no matter how frequently a generation is replaced by another," according to a statement 　from the North's official Korean Central News Agency released late Tuesday night after the dinner party.

Zhang was said to have praised Kim's efforts to boost cooperative ties and promised that Beijing will push forward on the wide-ranging agreements reached by the two countries' leaders.

Kim Jong Il made a surprise visit to China in May, and the countries have broken ground on the initial stages of a pair of 　joint economic development zones.

Earlier footage 　from Associated Press Television News in North Korea's capital, Pyongyang, showed Zhang greeting Kim Yong Nam, the head of the North's parliament, and later touring Kim Il Sung University and its computer library.

Zhang arrived in Pyongyang on Sunday and was due to leave Wednesday.

The countries fought together in the 1950-53 Korean War, and China remains North Korea's most important ally.
