[파리=신화/KNS뉴스통신] 프랑스 니콜라 스르코지 대통령은 지난 27일 그리스에 대한 새로운 금융 계획을 발표했다.
사르코지 대통령은 프랑스의 경제 활성화를 위한 “그레이트 론” 프로젝트에 대해서 설명하면서 프랑스 은행권이 보유하고 있는 그리스 국채의 70%를 재투자하는 것으로 그 가운데 50%는 30년 만기채권으로 변경하고 나머지 20%는 그리스 부채의 상환을 보증하는 것이라고 밝혔다.
국제결제은행에 의하면 프랑스 은행권은 그리스 국채 가운데 150억 유로 (미화 214억 달러)를 보유하고 있고 독일이 160억 유로 (미화 228억 달러) 의 부채에 노출되어 있다고 한다.
사르코지 대통령은 프랑스의 융자조건을 독일의 앙겔라 메르켈 수상과도 합의가 되었으며 다른 유럽연합 국가들도 프랑스의 계획에 동참할 것을 희망한다고 말했다.
사르코지 대통령은 그리스의 디폴트위기를 막기 위한 채무연장과 신용에 대한 지원을 확약하면서 유럽연합 개별국가의 자발적 참여를 촉구하고 나섰다.
언론보도에 의하면 유럽 은행권과 금융기관 대표들은 27일 프랑스의 계획에 대해 아직 합의점을 찾지 못한 것으로 알려졌다.

France works on new plan in saving Greece
PARIS, June 27 (Xinhua) -- French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Monday it is working on a new plan to save Greece from debt crisis that will involve private sectors to re-invest Greece's debt in new loans.
During a press conference detailing his "great loan" project aimed at boosting France's economy, Sarkozy confirmed the reports that French banks were going to re-invest up to 70 percent of the Greek sovereign debt they hold, 50 percent of which would be in new loans of 30-year maturity while the remaining 20 percent would be part of a guarantee fund securing the Greek debt.
According to the Bank of International Settlements, French banks hold about 15 billion euros (21.4 billion U.S. dollars) of Greek sovereign debt and Germany's exposure amounts some 16 billion euros (22.8 billion U.S. dollars).
Sarkozy said he had discussed the new plan with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and hoped other European countries would follow the suit of the French example.
Stressing the commitment to keep Greece from default, the French head of state said the new plan should be on the basis of " voluntary participation," otherwise it would in fact be a default.
According to media reports, a group of European bankers and heads of financial institutions discussed the French plan Monday at a meeting hosted by the Italian Finance Ministry, but no conclusion was reached.
